The Autotren demonstration and testing facility is located within the Guadalajara campus of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV).

It is the most comprehensive ATN testing facility in the world; It has 400 meters of elevated track, 200 meters of track at ground level, 1 fully equipped passenger station, 1 control room, 1 workshop and a fleet of vehicles that can operate individually or in trains of 2, 3 and 4 coupled vehicles.
