Querétaro already has a bus network, and is ready to take the next step with rapid-mass electric train trunk lines.

But there are several challenges; very narrow roads such as Av. Revolución where conventional solutions do not fit, crossing the historic center without affecting it, which requires an underground Metro-type solution, and without eliminating lanes on already congested avenues such as 5-Feb and Zaragoza.

All these challenges are solved with Autotrén at a fraction of the investment of a conventional train.
